Captain Rob Murray
Captain Rob Murray started re-enacting in 1996 at the 120th Anniversary “Custer Re-ride” from the Crows Nest to Ford “A” and the village site.
Rob is a member of Co.A, First Minnesota, and the Columbia Rifles. He was elected corporal in the 1st Minnesota in 1997, elected 1st Sergeant in 2002, and served as President of the 1st Minnesota for 3 years.
Rob was appointed Captain of the First Minnesota for the 1999 Chickamauga event and has led “enactors” in the field ever since, most recently raising a company for “Into the Piney Woods.” He first served as Adjutant for the Western Brigade in 2005 at Corinth and as AAG for the Western Brigade at 2006 Perryville.
Rob is employed as a printer and lives in Lakeville, MN.
